We look forward to welcoming you once again to Photonix in Tokyo. As the leading international trade fair for lasers and photonics, Photonix brings together three specialized exhibitions covering laser processing, optics, and optical measurement and analysis.

Fraunhofer IPMS will be presenting innovative technologies for the precise control and shaping of light. The focus is on our customised Micro-Mirror -Arrays, which are used as spatial light modulators (SLMs) from deep UV to near-infrared. As a highlight, we are showcasing a “DIFFRACTIVE MEMS KIT”: a system for proof-of-concept studies designed to explore new applications. The SLM module is based on an array of analog tilt micro-mirrors—including drive electronics, software, and a PC interface. It enables high-resolution optical phase control at high speeds.
