Ultra-Low Power Link
Li-Fi TinySpot is an ultra-compact, low-power optical communication module designed for space- and energy-constrained applications. It enables bi-directional, full-duplex data transmission at typical rates of 10 Mbps (up to 20 Mbps, more on request) over distances ranging from a few centimeters to several meters. With ultra-low power consumption (as low as 5 mW) and low latency, TinySpot is ideal for embedded systems, wearables, and sensor networks. It supports UART/SPI interfaces, is IrDA transceiver compatible (SIR, FIR, VFIR), and can serve as a modern IrDA replacement. The device is Laser Class 1 (eye safe), lightweight, and as small as 15 mm× 21 mm × 3.3 mm. Optional features include optical wireless power and onboard microcontroller integration for enhanced functionality.
