License Models

We offer three proven standard license models, each tailored to different requirements. In addition, our license models are flexible and can be adapted to your individual needs.

Product license: Licenses are valid for single-instance implementation/synthesis into one device (e.g., one type of ASIC, SoC, or FPGA) for a specific project or product definition. Multiple instantiations refer to the physical realization of one IP core multiple times in one device. Product licenses for IP Cores include volume caps of 10,000 units for FPGAs or 1,000,000 units for ASICs.

Prototype license: Valid for one-time implementation/synthesis in a device (e.g., one type of ASIC, SoC, or FPGA) for the purpose of manufacturing a prototype or demonstrator as part of a research project or prototype development.

Evaluation license: For a defined evaluation purpose, limited to a term of one year.
