Microscanner for light deflection for bar code recognition systems or spectrometers, mirror arrays for photolithography or adaptive optics, micro displays based on organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), miniature projectors for image and video content, the measuring and monitoring of vital bodily functions with transtelephonic data transmission. These are only a few examples of the many possible applications.
